Thanksgiving Pep Rally 2010
Pep rallies are Pep rallies, but this was different. The Gymnasium was shaking from the cheers and shouts and that was before the rally started. Have we ever had a Hip-Hop singer, a funky Dance Troupe, an energetic Mascot, a great rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, and an Award-winning Cheerleading squad performing at a Classical Pep Rally - - - I think not.
Denyse Hairston opened the Rally with the National Anthem.
The Cheerleading Squad performed admirably.
The Koolie High Swag Team performed their first time for 1500 students and faculty.
Their energy , enthusiasm, and weeks of practice showed in their rousing routines.
The Powder Puff Team thanked their Coaches for all their efforts.
Congratulations to the Homecoming Royal Court: Sophana Chau, Nicky Huon, Marilyn Chan, Samnang Oum, King Anthony Tham and Queen Leonora Ngo.
