The Summit Group

          The Summit Group consists of faith-based meetings with the main focus to help other people. We will be doing many fundraisers this year, but mainly focusing on the organization "To Write Love on Her Arms". This particular organization was made to give teenagers that have undergone substance abuse or have tried committing suicide, to give them the hope, faith, and help that they need. Hopefully we will also be able to do things like bake sales to raise money for people in need around Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have snacks, discussions, and pray at every meeting, which will typically be on Tuesdays. This group is run by students and will be meeting in Mr. Washington's classroom.

  We meet every Tuesday.

"You were created to love and be loved. You were meant to live life in relationship with other people, to know and be known. You need to know that your story is important and that you're part of a bigger story. You need to know that your life matters."

All the members in the Summit Group have been going around with Donation Cans for soldier care packages this December. there will be a box near the office for item donations, such as beef jerky, Dominos, cards and blankets. Thank you for your contributions.
