LCHS Softball Team Continues
Winning: Classical 6, Gloucester 2
At Grace Rogato, Field next to Breed Junior HS, Pitcher
Melissa McLaughlin kept the Fishermen off-balance. Courtney Sullivan
singled and scored on a throwing error in the first inning for the Rams and
Courtney King singled and scored on an Ashley Laramie hit in the second for
Classical's first two runs. The Rams opened things up with a four-run third
inning thanks to a combination of singles by Savanna Clemens and Sullivan, a hit
batter and a couple of errors. That make our current record 7 wins, 4 losses.
The game was highlighted with a 4-run third inning scored by Savanna Clemens,
Courtney Sullivan, Afton Dean, and Amanda Stevens. Amanda and Courtney both had
RBI’s in that inning.
