A Trip to the Science Museum Gets Exciting
On Jan. 24, 2008, The ESL ( English as a Second Language) group at the Classical Academy and members of the Science Club visited the Museum of Science. They had a great day . The students were sent on a science and math Scavenger Hunt for information provided in different exhibits. As you can see from the pictures, they took the hunt very seriously. The staff coordinated the Scavenger Hunt so that information the students were searching for matched materials learned in class.
They also got to see an IMAX film called "Monsters from the Deep". For many students, this was their first time in an IMAX theatre. You can imagine the looks of surprise and awe!
The trip was organized by Ms Curtis and Ms Winchell. Mr Hayward and Ms Boucek assisted on the trip. We are thankful to the Science Museum for graciously giving us free tickets.
