What's going on in the 3rd floor corridor ?

A Physics lesson, of course. Our roving photographer was walking down the B wing the other day and saw a group of students playing with paper airplanes and rubber bands. It turns out they were in Mr. Richardson's Physics class and conducting distance trials with an assortment of non-flying hand-made air cars. By adjusting the roundness of the wheels, the curve of the propeller, the straightness of the axles and the proximity of the rubber bands, students were able to extend the distance their plane could travel down the corridor. This was an introduction to Bernouli's Principle ( that allows wings to lift and planes to fly.)
