2. SENIORS INTERESTED IN THE CANNING FUNDRAISER SHOULD SEE JOHNNY LONG ON THURSDAY MAY 8TH AFTER SCHOOL IN THE CAF TO SIGN UP AND RECEIVE YOUR CAN. THERE IS A MAX OF 50 PARTICIPANTS FOR THIS FUNDRAISER.

SENIOR PLANS 2008 Updated 5/1/08

This list is intended for Seniors and their families to share their future plans with their classmates. We are pleased to add information about Seniors who have  been accepted to  colleges, have decided on military service, are planning to attend technical schools, or have made other career decisions. We are happy to receive information from parents, also. Please email the webmaster at brasss@lynnschools.org . Thank you.

Seniors - don't forget to give the Guidance Department a copy of your acceptance letter, particularly the college you plan to attend. Guidance needs this info to mail out your final transcript, which must be sent to the college you have chosen.

Bobby Adams - has been accepted to Salem State College. He is still waiting to hear from other schools.

Matthew Adolph - has been accepted to New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), located in Rhode Island. NEIT specializes in Computer Sciences.

Mohamad Al-rekabi - has been accepted to UMass Lowell and University of Phoenix.

Vincent Amenta - has been accepted at Salem State College. Vinny is interested in the Criminal Justice Program and hopes to be on the Golf Team. Salem State has about 6,400 undergraduate students and is located on 108 acres near  the ocean and Marblehead.

Mamadou Bah - has been accepted to Fisher College in Boston.

Samantha Barker - has been accepted at St. Anselm College, Florida Southern University (FSU), Franklin Pierce University, and Merrimack College. She plans on playing softball at FSU, which is located near Tampa.

Brittani Barrett - has been accepted to UMass Amherst, Roger Williams College, and the University of New Hampshire. She will be attending UMass Amherst.

Sebastien Bejin - has been accepted to American International College, Bay State College, and Salem State College.

Shante Berry - has been accepted to UMass Dartmouth, Westfield State College, and American International College.

Shardaye Berry -  has been accepted to American International College, Baystate College,  Salem State College, and Franklin Pierce University. AIC is located in the heart of Springfield and has about 2,000 students on 52 acres.

Dainaly Blas - has been accepted to Salem State College. SSC has 17 Varsity Sports programs plus 7 organized Intramural programs.

Liam Bransfield - has been accepted to Franklin Pierce University, New Hampshire and Salem State College.  Franklin Pierce's Men's Soccer Team won the NCAA Division II National Championship in December, 2007.

Joshua Burke - has been accepted to Salem State College. The college bookstore offer new and used textbooks, plus college clothing, and is located at  71 Loring Avenue in Salem.

Steven Burke - has been accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston.  He plans on majoring in Music Performance and Jazz Composition.

Brian Burgess - has been accepted to St. Joseph's College.

Allison Burggren - has been accepted to Wheelock College, her first choice. Wheelock is a small Liberal Arts college, located along the edge of the beautiful Riverway, in  Boston.

Nicole Capone - has been accepted to the Nursing Program at Curry College in Milton, MA.

Christopher Champigny - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Catie Chipman - has been accepted at UMass Amherst. Cathy plans on being a Political Science major, but is still waiting to hear from other schools. The Amherst campus has about 20,000 undergraduate students on 1,450 acres and is located  90 miles west of Boston.

Brenna-Jean Condon - has been accepted to the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

Jerrica Conley - has been accepted to the University of New Haven and University of Hartford in Connecticut. UNH has about 2400 students located on 80 acres in West Haven, just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean.

Marie Conroy - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Jennifer Coviello - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Timothy Cowdell - has been accepted to Salem State College. He will be majoring in Business Administration.

Adam Craig - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Rachael Curtin - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC has an Honors Program for students planning to further their education after two years.

Evan D'Avolio - has been accepted and will be attending Harvard University this fall.

Afton Dean - has been recruited and offered Athletic Scholarships to both Bentley College and Merrimack College. She has signed her Letter of Intent to attend Merrimack.

Taylor DeFronzo - has been accepted to Salem State College. She is interested in Early Childhood Education.  From 1932 to 1959, the school's name was Salem Teachers College; today, the School of Education gives out Bachelor and Master's Degree.

Sabrina Delance - has been accepted to Newbury College,  American International College, Salem State College, Framingham State College, and Suffolk University. She is planning on majoring in International Business. Newbury is located in Boston, in to the beautiful Fenway, and has about 1300 students. AIC is located 90 miles west, in Springfield, MA. 

Jaydiris De Los Santos - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Melvin Disla - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC offers dozens of Certificate programs plus two year Associate Degrees. 

Colleen Donovan - has been accepted to Fisher College and  Simmons College.

Eleni Doulis - has been accepted to Simmons College, Suffolk University, and Salem State College.

Reginal Douyon - has been accepted to Curry College and Salem State College.

Tachand Dubuisson - has been accepted to Salem State College, UMASS Lowell, UMASS Amherst, Drexel University, Delaware State University, and the Mass College of Liberal Arts

Same Duong - has been accepted to UMass Lowell and Salem State College, but is considering joining the US Navy and specializing in the Nuclear Power Training Program. 

Manny Encarnacion - has been accepted to Fisher College, Johnson and Wales, and Salem State College. He is planning to major in Business

Samara Faustin - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Jennifer Fernandez - has been accepted to Salem State College and North Shore CC.

Erica Ferrier-Lynch - has been accepted to Champlain College and Franklin Pierce University and has been offered the  Provost's Scholarship. 

Eliana Field - has been accepted to Northeastern University and Emmanuel College ( we hear with a nice scholarship.) Emmanuel sits on 17 acres in the Longwood Medical area in the heart of Boston and has about 2,400 students.

Sophie Fiskatoris - has been accepted to Assumption College, Merrimack College, Suffolk University, and UMass Boston. She plans on studying Pre-Law.

PJ Flores - has been accepted to Curry College, and is planning to major in Business. Curry is located on 137 acres in Milton, MA, and has a student body of approximately 2000 students, and most live on campus.

Rocio Funez - has been accepted to Bentley College.

Briana Galeazzi - has been accepted to Quinnipiac University, Stonehill College, and Stonybrook University. She is undecided on her major at this time.

Damien Garcia - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Diericks Garraud - has been accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology, UMass Lowell  and Merrimack College.

Jetta Garrity - has been accepted to Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She received the Presidential Scholarship of $10,000 annually for her outstanding academic and personal achievement. Additionally, she was accepted to the University of Hartford and was selected to receive the President's Scholarship of $12,000 annually and admission to the University Honors Program. Jetta plans on studying biomedical engineering.

Deanna Geldart - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Sarah Gillis - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Chrismery Gonzalez - has been accepted to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Salem State College.

Amanda Harney -  has been accepted to Castleton State College in Vermont. Castleton has about 1,700 students on 165 beautiful acres.

Peter Hontzeas - has been accepted to Salem State College as a Criminal Justice major.

Janeal Hoyte - has been accepted to UMass Lowell, Curry College, and UMass Boston.

Brenna Hunt - has been accepted to Endicott College, UMass Dartmouth, Westfield State College, Salem State College,  and Emmanuel College ( with a college Scholarship).   WSC is the most residential ( lots of dormitories) of the state colleges, and is about 25 miles west of Boston.

Britney Hunt - has been accepted to Salem State College. 

Quivari Jackson - has been accepted to Merrimack College with a Football Scholarship. He has signed his Letter of Intent and may become a wide receiver.

Alissa Johnson - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Tony Johnson - has been accepted  to Merrimack College with a  Football Scholarship and has signed a Letter of Intent. 

Allison Kench - has been accepted to Nazareth College, Plymouth State College, and Franklin Pierce University, located in Rindge, NH.

Roberta Lantigua - has been accepted to Suffolk University, Salem State College, Emmanuel College,  and Regis College.

Erik Lawless - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. He is hoping to transfer to Berklee College next year.

Titenny Loeup - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC has three campuses: Lynn, Beverly, and Danvers.

Shamara Lopez -  has been accepted to American International College in Springfield, MA.

Miguel Lugo - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. Successful completion of an Associate Degree program can lead to entrance to a four-year school.

Dyna Ly - has been accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology and Boston Architectural College. Wentworth's campus is near  Northeastern University and the Museum of Fine Arts, located in the middle of Boston with  3,600 students on 35 acres. She is interested in becoming an architect. 

Malinda Ly - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. There are over 20 computer courses and Certificate programs at NSCC.

Georgia Maniatis - has been accepted to Suffolk University and Salem State College. 

Sophanna Man - - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC has many e-courses, where you can take a course from your home computer.

Patrick Manning - has been accepted to UMass Lowell, University of New Hampshire, Salem State College and Wentworth Institute. He is interested in majoring in Criminal Justice or Engineering. 

Lauren Marnik - has been accepted to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Simmons College, Merrimack College, Curry College, Emmanuel College, Regis College, Salem State College, and UMass Dartmouth. She will be attending the Mass. College of Pharmacy.

Erin McCall - has been accepted to the University of Maine as a Journalism major, Suffolk College, St. Joseph's College, and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. UMaine has about 12,000 students and is located in Orono.

Matthew McDonald -  has been accepted to the Culinary Arts program at Johnson & Wales University and North Shore Community College. The J & W campus is in the center of Providence, Rhode Island and has about 9,900 students. It is the largest of their six campuses around the country.

Rachel McInerny - has been accepted to Franklin Pierce College.

Laura McLaughlin - has been accepted to Franklin Pierce University, located in the  beautiful mountains of  New Hampshire.

Aferdita Mehmeti - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Jennifer Mellen -  has been accepted to Salem State College and Suffolk University, receiving a Dean's Scholarship of $11,000 in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement.

Justin Merrill - has been accepted to Franklin Pierce in New Hampshire.

Marc Moise -  has been accepted at North Shore Community College and at Herkimer Community College in Herkimer , NY.

Stephany Montenegro - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. Although NSCC does not have an Athletic Program, there are many Clubs and Activities one can join.

Enos Mullings - has been accepted to the New England Institute of Art. NEIA offers degrees in Graphic Arts and Design, Photography, plus Media Arts and Technology.

Katrina Mulvihill - has been accepted to Newbury College, where she plans on majoring in Criminal Justice. Newbury is located in Brookline, MA, next to Boston. Although there are just about 1,000 students, the college has a large selection of athletic and extra-curricular activities.

Tia Murkison - has been accepted to Northeastern University, UMass Amherst, and Bentley College. Located in Waltham, MA, on 163 beautiful acres, Bentley is considered a top business school with about 4,000 students.

Kris Murphy - has been researching the Training Programs offered by the US Air Force, but has yet to make a final commitment.

Jodi Murray - has been accepted to Salem State College. Framingham State and Bridgewater State College. She plans on attending Bridgewater State College.

Erin Muschette - has been accepted to Northeastern University, Providence College, Salem State College, Assumption College, Bridgewater State College, and American International College.

 
Jeanna Myette - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Rynaren Neang - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Sereyleak Nov - has been accepted to Salem State College

Abel Nunez - has been accepted to UMass Boston and Salem State College. He will be majoring in Pre-Med,                                                         hoping to go to Medical School  after college graduation.                                                                      

Zachary Osborne - has been accepted at Salem State College.

Dillon O'Toole - has been accepted to his first choice, WPI ( Worcester Polytechnical Institute.)                                                                                  WPI has about 2,900 students, and is located on an 80 acre hill overlooking the city of Worcester. 

Phonpechborey Ou - has been accepted to Stonehill College,  Endicott College, and Salem State College.

Joe Paru - has been accepted accepted to Suffolk University , Salem State College, and UMass Boston. Suffolk is located in  Boston, right behind the State House. Joe plans on going to Suffolk though, to study Political Science and/or Psychology.

Dimitrios Pelekoudas - has been accepted to UNH ( University of New Hampshire ). Dimitrios wants to major in Psychology. UNH has seven colleges and is located in Durham, near the seacoast.

Jenn Phan - has been accepted to Fitchburg State College.

Zephaniah Philips - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Deborah Pierre - has been accepted to UMass Amherst, Temple University, St. Anselm, Assumption College,and the Berklee College of Music.  She will be attending Berklee.

Megan Pierre - has been accepted to St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire and                                                                                         Assumption College in Worcester, MA.

Elaine Pres - has been accepted to Fitchburg State College, UMass Boston, UMass Amherst, and Salem State College. She has chosen Fitchburg State and will be majoring in Human Services.

Emely Pring - has been accepted to Georgetown University. She has been offered the Community Scholars Program                                        and plans on majoring in Pre-Med ( this major prepares students for Medical School admissions.)

Rana Ragab - has been accepted to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy

Jillian Reddy - has been accepted to UMass Dartmouth, Endicott College, University of New Hampshire, and                                                        Salem State College. She plans on majoring in Nursing at UMass Dartmouth.

Michael Reece - has been accepted to Bridgewater State College, Merrimack College, and                                                                                 Framingham State College. Michael is leaning towards Bridgewater as a Business major.                                                                                                Yahoo! Internet Life ranks Bridgewater State College as one of America's Top 50 Most-Wired Colleges.

Henry Renderos - has been accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology and Salem State College. He's planning on majoring in Computer Science.

Maria Renkin - has been accepted to NYU ( New York University. )  NYU has 20,000 undergraduate students,                                                          is the largest  private college in the USA, and is located in New York City.

Alexander Rittershaus - has been accepted to Suffolk University and Hampden-Sydney College, Virginia. Hampden-Sydney is                        the 10th oldest college in the United States, started in 1775. It has 1100 undergraduates   students and is    located  in the  countryside on 1200 acres about 50 miles SW of Richmond, VA. 

 

Demetra Rivera - has been accepted to Wheelock College, located in Boston, with the mission "to better the lives of children and families."

Stanley Sam - has been accepted to Hesser College in New Hampshire, American International College,  and North Shore Community College. 

Sharleen Sanchez - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC offers a variety of                                                              Certificate programs in Nursing and Health Care.

Tracey Scherrer - has been accepted to Suffolk University, Salem State College, and UMass Dartmouth.

Savoeun Seam - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC offers degree programs                                                                   in Business, Criminal Justice, Aviation, and much more.

Carmichael Seigart - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Amanda Sequeira - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Eric Silva - has been accepted to Syracuse University  where he has earned a Chancellors Scholarship, Franklin Pierce University and offered the Presidential Scholarship, Boston College and UMass Amherst. 

Zarina Smetankina - has been accepted to Suffolk University and Salem State College.

Sam Smith - has been accepted to University of New Hampshire. He has not decided whether to go out for QB or center on the Basketball Team.   

Cynthia Sok - has been admitted to North Shore Community College.   

Kasey Sonia - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Lisselot Soriano - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Amanda Stevens - has been accepted to University of New Hampshire and Southern New Hampshire University, Westfield State College, UMass Dartmouth, and Salem State College.

Kimberly Strong - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Courtney Sullivan - has been accepted to Bridgewater State College. BSC has approximately  7,000                                                  undergraduate students, is located on 235 acres 25 miles south of Boston.

Shardaye Taylor - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. NSCC offers two year programs                                                            in Animal Care, Food Service and Culinary Arts, and Paralegal Training.

Sophoune Thach - has been accepted to North Shore Community College. 

Billy Thibodeau - has been accepted at UMass Dartmouth and University of New Hampshire. His major is undecided at this time.

Doneeca Thurston  - has been accepted to Bucknell University, and has been given a full scholarship                                                                     through the Posse Foundation. Bucknell has 3,400 undergraduate students and is located on 450                                                                                acres in Lewiston, Pennsylvania.

Tim Timerhanov - is planning on joining the US Air Force and learning Mechanical Engineering.

 

 Kristin Tomerlinhas been accepted to Texas Womens University and plans to major in Nursing. TWU does have male students, is considered outstanding in the Health Sciences field, and has three campuses: Houston, Dallas, and Denton.

Kim Tran - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Linh Tran - has been accepted to UMass Boston.

Christina Tsolias - has been accepted to Suffolk University in Boston.

Christina Tzortzis - has been accepted to UMass Amherst, Franklin Pierce College, Salem State College, and Elmira College in New York. FPC is named after the 14th President of the US.

Nahimatu Usuman - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Andrea Valentine - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Valerie Vazquez - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Jaime Villanueva - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

Turi Vitale - has been accepted to Catholic University of Washington, D.C.,  Loyola University in New Orleans, Daniel Webster College, School of Social Sciences, with a partial Scholarship.  DW has about 1,200 students, is located on the edge of Nashua, New Hampshire, and is just 36 miles North of Boston.

Christopher Voyiagis - has been accepted to University of New Hampshire, Merrimack College, UMass Amherst,  and Salem State College.

Alex Watler - has been accepted to Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology  (MIT), Dartmouth College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  He has chosen Harvard and is looking to major in Computer Engineering.

Ben Wheeler - has been accepted to Franklin Pierce College with an excellent  scholarship offer. Ben has also been accepted to UMass Lowell, and the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI, with a University Scholarship.  Franklin Pierce is located in Rindge, N.H , has 1,600 undergraduate students, and is located on 1200 acres next to Pearly Pond. Ben's major interest is Physical Therapy.

Kelsey Ylonen - has been accepted to Bentley College in Waltham, MA.

Taylor Young - has been accepted to Becker College. Becker has about 1,700 students on its two campuses, Worcester, and Leicester, about 30 miles west of Boston.

Sarto Yun - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.  He is interested in Film Editing and TV Production.

John Zall - has been accepted to Salem State College.

Jordan Zeinert - has been accepted to North Shore Community College.

 Seniors Class Dues are used to pay for your Yearbook, Prom, and Senior Week Activities. If you haven't paid yet, you need to pay your $150 Senior Class Dues asap to: Ms. Averback C306, Mrs. Moriarty B209, Mme Hazelton C204, or Mrs. Richardson A305 .   If your dues are not paid, you will not be allowed to participate in many activities or get a Senior Yearbook. Payments can be in cash or check payable to LCHS Class of 2008.
