CSI : CLASSICAL
Investigating the Crime Scene
Currently in the Forensics Lab course, Mr. Henkenmeier and his class are working with footprint analysis. This lab replicates what a criminal investigation team would do if they found a shoe print at a crime scene. This is a four part lab - first, the students mix up mud in baking pans and press a sneaker sole into the mud; second, they prepare a casting using plaster of Paris; third, they remove and clean the casting; fourth, they must identify which sneaker made the original impression.
