Lynn Classical vs Charlestown
It was an exciting night in the Salem HS gymnasium. Two top teams meet again in the MIAA Playoffs. What a game! The lead changed hands numerous times, but by the end of the first half Classical was winning by one point.
The second half started with Classical running away with the ball, but Charlestown kept coming back. Shot by shot, the teams kept tying each other. Alvin Abreu, Vince Spence, and Justin Davis came up with the big numbers. Jeff Watson, Alberto Rodriguez, Jose Quintana, Ceytan Tyler, and Robrto Vellon contributed strongly on both offense and defense. With Charlestown leading by two points and virtually no time left on the clock, Vince Spence tossed up a final shot --- and it sank ! The partisan Lynn crowd went crazy and the Ram Roadies spilled out onto the court. Tie game, 73 - 73 .
Next came the four minute overtime. But after a wild game of fast breaks and full court presses, the Classical team was tiring and couldn't keep up. Final score, 88-76. Thanks for a great season, men.
Vince's shot was up in the air as the buzzer sounded !

Lynn Classical vs North Andover

The defense was overwhelming from buzzer to buzzer. Classical constantly used a full court press, stealing the ball time and time again. The offense was powerful and driving to the basket repetitively. Classical easily beat a scrappy but outclassed North Andover. The photos tell this story also.
