Thanksgiving Day Football vs English HS
Today, Thursday 11/25/04, is the last football game at the Manning Bowl. Built over 66 years ago, the English High School side of the field was already condemned because of falling concrete. There are approximately 3,500 fans in attendance and loudly cheering, everyone sharing the Classical side of the stands. Fans are decked out in their school colors. It is damp, muddy, and a hard rain starts to fall.
