The Softball Team defeated Lynn English on Saturday night by a score of 3-0. Katelyn Stanger pulled a great move in the first inning by stealing second base, moving to third on Ciera Campbell's single, then scoring on Afton Dean's fly ball to center.

Melissa McLaughlin pitched hard and well in her second game of the day. (The early game was with a 2-1 win over Swampscott.) Ciera Campbell ran down a fly ball and then caught the runner off first base, for an important double play. Ashia Holcombe also stole a base and scored later in the game.

In the win over Swampscott, Melissa McLaughlin allowed no walks and only 3 hits. In the fifth inning, Alex Pierre came of the bench and hit a two run single, which was the game-winning difference.

The team also defeated Marblehead over the weekend by a 7-1 score, with McLaughlin pitching her heart out again. Alex Pierre and Courtney King drove in two runs each. Savanna Clemens and Stacey Sport each had an RBI.
