Classical Says Goodbye to 3 Great Teachers

Last night on the first day of Summer, 2011, over 100 teachers and retired staff said their farewells to three Departments Heads. Julie Cushing of the ESL Department, Elaine O'Malley of the Math Department, and Joanne Wortman of the SPED Department will be sorely missed by Classical staff and students. A number of people got up and spoke about their  retiring colleagues, including Donna Deegan, Hana Walsh, Faith Hazelton, Kerri Altieri, Yvonne Story, Joe Picano and our beloved Principal Gene Constantino. Gayle Richardson and Faith Hazelton did a great job putting the Retirement Party together, MC Stevie B was at the mike, and Angelica's served a fine dinner.
