Ram Readers Host Mrs. Zinck's 3rd Grade Class
To celebrate National Library Week, the Classical High Ram Readers hosted Mrs. Zinck’s third grade from the Callahan School. The books of Beverly Cleary were the theme for the day. The Classical Library became Klickitat Street, where Ramona the Pest and her friends live. The children acquired ears and tails, had their faces painted and became that famous character Ralph S. Mouse. They heard the tale of Ralph’s adventure in the laundry basket. Like Ralph they were caught in a “laundry basket” maze, but escaped safely. They assembled their own motorcycles. The mouse face cupcakes that the children designed were true works of art. The Classical students and the Callahan students all enjoyed this literary extravaganza.
