Meet the Staff
Tara Vocino, founding editor and president, is currently a senior and is an active member of Chorus, Ram Readers, International Club, Team Mexico ’06, and a Special Ed/Library Assistant. Tara will be attending Wheaton College in the fall, as an English major. Her immediate family has had a massive impact on her appreciation of English composition.
Lisa Lim, copy
editor, is a senior at Classical High School.
She enjoys writing, drawing, and other creative activities.
She is glad to be a part of the Class of 2006.
Sarah E. Gillis is
an overzealous sophomore who takes three honors courses and a language.
She enjoys snowboarding, fishing, and photography among other things.
Her goal in life is to affirm a healthy lifestyle and travel to Ireland.
She is considering a career in either archaeology, anthropology, the
United Nations, or in a socially responsible law firm.
Nancy Khun is a 12th
grader at LCHS. She’ll be
graduating this year. She’s Chinese and Cambodian and her hobbies include
playing Chinese jump rope and reading Mangas.
Shakeem Pierresaint
is a sophomore. He is black and
Haitian. He will be graduating in
2008.
Eric Polanco is a
junior at Lynn Classical High School. He
is a serious student who is looking to pursue a degree in Business Management.
John Sok is a junior at LCHS.
He was born in Lynn, Ma, and his hobbies are playing chess, mathematical
games, and reading.
Chris Duryea, faculty advisor, has taught English at Classical since 2001. His interests beyond literature include film, traditional music, and writing. His short story “Diana’s Pool” was published in 1999.

Fatima Al-reKabi
is 15 years old and in homeroom A101, although she is always found in B107 (the
TV Studio) doing the morning news.
Tori Beliveau goes
to Lynn Classical High School. She is 16 and a junior. She loves to play
softball.
Sean Hart is a
Lynn native and a junior at Lynn Classical. “Dark” is his first published
story. He enjoys playing in his band, Heatershed, and being with his
girlfriend Catie.
Andy Lenners
spends most of his time reading or writing.
He is 14 and gets his ideas from writers like Stephen King and Dean
Koontz. He lives in Lynn, MA and is a freshman.
Maddie McConaghy
is a junior at Classical High School. She
cheers for the school’s football team and loves to dance.
In the future, she hopes to go to college for journalism or interior
decorating.
Kathryn Morano has
been a language teacher in Lynn since 1993.
During the summers, she has worked as a tour guide at various historical
sites, including The House of the Seven Gables, The Witch House in Salem, and
currently, the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers.
Besides her interest in foreign languages and travel, she is fascinated
with local history and genealogy.
Nicole Ricko is a
senior. She has been an active member of Ram Readers and Art Club
since her freshman year, was on the swim team and tennis team her senior year,
and was also a member of the soccer team from freshman year to junior year. She
enjoys ice-skating and video games.
Danielle Uiterwijk is a junior here at classical. She’s 17 years old and loves to write on her spare time. She’s a Concert Choir, Girl’s Chorus member, and loves to sing. She writes poetry, short stories, and songs based on events that inspire her form her own life or the lives of her friends.
