LCHS Library

While the Library is being reconstructed, Room 108, also known as the Fishbowl because of the curved glass wall, will be open and available for research. Computers with Internet access are  available in the temporary library.   12/5/2007

We are members of the Northern Massachusetts Regional Library System (NMRLS). To access the many information and reference sources for the above, please click on their site link .                                                                 http://www.nmrls.org/answers/index.html

We are also members of the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE). This accesses reference information and book availability from our own Lynn Public Library and other libraries on the North Shore.                http://www.noblenet.org/lynn

NCES is the National Center for Education Statistics.  The "Create a Graph" feature is especially useful to our students. The NCES Students' Classroom has been redesigned and even renamed. It is now called the KidsZone. It has an entirely new look and feel to help you find things easier and added features to make your visit more fun. You'll still have the same great tools to help you find schools, libraries, or colleges and don't worry, the Create a Graph is still just a click away. Check out the very popular Chances where probability is only a roll of the dice away, or visit old favorites like the Word Search. You can find updated information on education or compare where you stack up to students from across the globe. The new home page is also not to be missed with its new Student Poll and Mindbenders to test your cleverness. We hope you like what we've done. It's knowledge and fun rolled up in one!
