Health Center

      What is the School-based Health Center? The School-based Health Center is a place where students from Classical High School can get physical and mental health care and learn how to be healthy. The center recognizes that many of the students have their own primary care provider. They are not attempting to substitute them but will work in cooperation.

primary care, reproductive health and mental health services. It will run every Wednesday from 3-8PM 

at  694 Western Ave.  It will be staffed by  a NP (Melinda Jones) and 1 or 2 adolescent behavioral health 

providers. We will also be hiring an adolescent health educator/outreach worker to be part of the teen 

clinic team.  As with the SBHCs, the teen clinic will see all teens regardless of  insurance. We will help 

ninsured teens apply for Free Care & MassHealth. Our goal is to develop a high-quality 

health care program that is accessible & appealing to teens.
