A Real World Visitor from General Electric

The Classical Mathematics Department invited Dave Gutz, a mechanical engineer from General Electric, Aviation Division, who spoke to AP Calculus students on March 17, 2010, about the daily use of Calculus in his work. Supplementary topics were  how much of his time involves interpersonal and cooperative work, and the spectrum of engineering disciplines.
