The Showdown - against Danvers

Tonight, the Lady Rams showed what they are made of, and what they can do. They ran, they hustled, they fought and dove for loose balls, they stayed composed and wrestled a win from Danvers.
In the first half , Tonisha Tate and Manise Louinard pounded the ball inside. The Danvers team was fast and could also hustle. But with Ashley Donovan, Taneka Brown and Meaghan Reddy fighting for every rebound in the game, Classical led by 7 points at the half.
As soon as the second half started, Danvers crept by and took the lead with solid 3-point shooting. As the game wore on, Irene Saranteas, in her second game coming back from injury, got into the mix, ending up with 10 points, with 8 of 10 free throw shooting at critical times. Christina Mckenzie came off the bench and scored a strong 9 points. And, of course, Ashley Donovan also fought back hard and had two important 3-point-shots near game's end.
Tonisha ended up with 12 points, Ashley and Irene had 10, Manise and Christina had 9, and Taneka and Meaghan had 4 points each. Final score 58-54.
