Classical Alumni and Friends Awards Night
Thursday, May 31st, 2007 at St. Michael's Hall
Principal Warren White opens the ceremonies by greeting the 200 guests for the evening. He is proud of the efforts of the Alumni and Friends Association for helping raise over $71,000 in scholarship money. The 63 students selected are going to four year colleges, have had exemplary academic achievement at Classical, have participated in sports and/or extra-curricular activities, and have given back to their community. But first, the President, (Alumnus and retired Classical teacher Paul Stafford,) along with Secretary, (Alumnus, and high school sweetheart,) Gerri Stafford awarded a group of volunteers who have spent many hours aiding them in their goals.
The Alumni organization invited scholarship recipients and their family for dinner catered by Lynn Tech culinary students. Here are some candid photos taken before the Awards this evening...
Thanks to the fundraising activities of the Classical Alumni and Friends Association, many of the following students are able to attend college. Thanks goes out to the many benefactors and families who have created scholarships to honor or memorialize a loved one and sees the need for supporting our future leaders.
